Can't you see

things would be better if we were all just a little more kind to one another

more caring about one another

less greedy

more giving

were we to have more compassion and empathy for one another

If we were more understanding of our differences

more respectful of each person's individuality

our uniqueness

acknowledging the beauty that is us all

What if we were more respectful

didn't try to do one anothers thinking for them

didn't try to force our will upon one another

How about if we were less fearful of one another

less prejudiced

bigoted

tribalistic

war-some

If we were to be more accepting of one another as one race

the human-race

seeing ourselves truly as One Family

treated each other only as we would want to be treated ourselves

never proceeding to do anything without first asking self

would I want this done to me

If you are me and I am you

how I see you is a reflection on me

how you see me is a reflection on you

the only way to fully love myself is for me to also love you

If I should hurt you

I'm not only hurting you but me too

we're all on this trip together

every single one of us is on the very same blue marble

spinning around through space

if we don't soon learn to live together

it's a damn good chance we gonna all die together

At our own hands

fighting over whose god is greater

religion

dogma

doctrine

tradition

money

position

an assortment of ridiculous things

If we all were to die tomorrow and there's nothing else there-after to ever be experienced

no going to the otherside

no continuation of our energy

no future resurection

no after life

or eternal life

heaven or hell

no devil

no god

for us nothing at all

nothing but nothingness

I'd much rather live the rest of my life loving others for who they are and them loving B for B

striving to do only that which love would do where others are concerned

encouraging my brothers and sisters to do the same

Be there a god or not

If we don't help one another up

quit trying to tear somebody else down

every thing and every body gonna go boom

On the verge of self destruction

Is it really gonna take total inialiation of every single man, woman and child on the face of the earth to rid the planet of the havoc humans have wrought

When it comes to punishment we're such gluttants don't ya think

just can't get enough

come on wake up smell the coffe and drink a few cups

Must we all die for the world to finally be at peace

If any of us should survive the carnage

having not changed our ways

the ones that got us from there to here in the first place

all them that's left gonna do is wind up right here again

what they gonna do then

what's it gonna matter

if all folks are going to do is keep running around in circles

history repeating

the only way off the merry go round

to not doing the same thing over and over again

either way

love is far better than fear and hate

learn to truly love one another

every body wins

if not

eventually

all of us gon' lose

This time tomorrow we could all be gone

If the ancients are right

the consensus

put more love in your heart
